Is it true that you, George, and Paul re-recorded "In Spite of all the Danger" for the anthology? Thanks for taking the time to answer this!!!! -Gina

What encouraged you to write/record Back Off Boogaloo? See you in Atlantic City. I loved the first two tour. It is a pity Eric Carmen declined the invitation. Phil

TOPIC: RINGO STARR TIME: 05/25 2:51 AM TO: PHILIP SPERANZA (GSPV00A) FROM: RINGO STARR (ROCK99F) SUBJECT: BACK OFF BOOGALOO Dear Phil, Well, I don't know about it being a nickname for Paul, Marc Bolan from T.Rex inspired me to write that song. We had dinner one night and that's how we spoke-- it was all "Boogaloo" and "back off." I went to bed that night and woke up in the middle of the night with that song in my head, and it took me ten minutes. As for the future, we'll be on tour until the middle of September, then we'll go on holiday. No record plans at the moment. Ringo Starr

Dear Ringo: First, we are all very sorry about the death of your first wife. I have been a Beatles Fan since 1970 when I was five years old. I would ask my older brothers to put on Let It Be or "The Talking Album" as I would put it. I never thought I would be able to ask a Beatle any questions so I will just ask two. 1) What was your proudest moment as a Beatle? and 2) Did you ever say to yourself when you were making the music, "This music will last forever?" Thank you very much for everything!!!! Mike

I always admired your drumming techniques and I believe that you truly are the greatest rock and roll drummer there is. It is because of that that I always wondered why you never did more than 1 drum solo on any of the Beatles' songs. Your solo on "The End" is a classic! Well, don't pass me by:) and write me back if you get the chance. I look forward to reading your reply. Yours truly, Matt Cherry

I enjoyed greatly the first "ALL-STARR" tour on video and album, as well as your solo work and the Beatles tunes. My question is short and simple: do you have any plans to work with Joe Walsh anytime in the foreseeable future? I think you two have done some great work in the past, but I didn't know what the status might be of any further work with the Beatles and Eagles working together again themselves. Take care, Sir.
